Throughout my career I have been fortunate to work with brands and teams that push the envelope and set high goals. Collective team efforts have led to many award winning campaigns/spots in the U.S. and internationally, which I’m grateful for, but it’s rare to get an individual shout out. Thus, the amazingly kind and grand gesture highlighted here when Lerma/ agency (Richards/Lerma at that time) ran a congratulatory print/digital ad in 2018 to note the moment I was awarded 2018’s Agency Rising Star of the year award in Chicago.

It’s showing off a little, but I’m incredibly grateful to Pedro Lerma and Lerma/ agency family that nominated me, that helped me grow and produce great work with them, and made lasting friendships. There’s a sense of humor to the headline and it ties back to something I truly believe, which is that the team dynamic and relationships are everything. Great teams accomplish great things.
